Gary Lineker sends a message to Newcastle following EFL Cup defeat

Newcastle faced Manchester United in the EFL Cup on Sunday and suffered a 2-0 defeat as Casemiro opened the scoring, meanwhile, Marcus Rashford doubled the Red Devils’ lead.
The Magpies were close to winning a trophy after 48 years, however, Erik ten Hag’s side became the champions after a win.
Following the game, Gary Lineker took to Twitter to send a message.
He wrote: “Proper support despite the disappointment from @NUFC’s fans. Their time will come.”
